We tried them twice. The first truck did not even have an oxygen tank when my sons relied on a ventilator. When they picked us up from the same visit, the new van had a tank that was empty. Unfortunately my son needed the tank during transport and when they turned it on, the tank was empty. We were in a hospital thankfully but needed to go to ER unexpectedly for him to get oxygen. When the third van came to take is home from ER , a supervisor was on the crew and straight up said, “ you can call another company if you don’t trust us”. Obviously he was an oblivious to how his own company gets paid and the process it takes for insurance to approve. Needless to say we tried another company and they were fantastic. If you need transportation services for your loved ones, find a company who truly cares about the patients. This company only cares about the ?

Wow! Do not use this company…i requested transport for a hospice patient at the medical center San Antonio TX at 7pm going home, Acadian Transport said pickup time will be at 10pm, called at 10pm for eta they said pickup will now be at 12am, called at 12am and they said pickup will now be at 12:45am. I called and requested to speak to manager (wow you should hear the recording I have of manager Triston) EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DEMEANING AND DISRESPECTFUL. He only let me actually start talking once I told him my company phone records phone calls…I seriously hope they don’t let this guy stay in management. Very very very rude, talked over me the whole time saying I was calling them liars (?) this is the LAST time I will EVER use Acadian for my patients. And I’m going to advocate all the major hospitals in SA drop them from their hospital contracts.

I was walking out a convenient store when I saw an elderly man had fell out of his vehicle and when I helped him get up cause he had fallen I look up and see ambulance 761 at the gas pump right where they can see that he had fallen not even bothering to help him. The driver was asleep and the passenger was too busy on her phone.. I know she saw this man on the ground. It doesn’t matter if you were called to help someone or not, you should have helped him. I hope the supervisor to them see this cause this.

They were going to be 45 minutes late and did not bother to notify me so I could notify my provider. Called to let them know that my provider would not be able to see me by the time they would have got me there so I canceled. Driver shows up 2 hours past the scheduled time for pick up.
Update to my review....
This same scenario just played out again. They did not notify me that they were running late (45 min.) The pattern seems to be if you are not picked up first thing in the morning they are going to be running late for your pickup time.

I have numerous bills from Acadian for transport. They are incorrectly submitting to insurance so we are getting declined and being charged $1500 per ride for 2 - 4 miles each way . I just called SHURMED and they quoted $632 for what Acadian is charging me $1571.96 AND they will submit to insurance. I'm guessing SHURMED will properly file the insurance claim and we will not be charged. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE CROOKS! I leave so many positive reviews, and if I leave an average review, I point out the positive and negative. My point is: when I leave a bad review, there is something wrong.

This is a very unethical organization. My 87 yo father had to be transported from the VA to Kerrville to a rehabilitation hospital after 2 months in the hospital. We were assured by the VA and Acadian that we would not be charged as Medicare or the VA would cover the costs. However, they have been hounding my 88 year old mother for a $2, 400 payment for the last 2 years. Please research any communication between the VA and Acadian before using as Acadian as Acadian is their "preferred" transport company and they are ripping all of us off.

I don’t use this service but I see them in dialysis and at hospitals. My problem is they won’t put mask on when it is clearly marked must have mask on to enter. I asked them why and was told some enforce it and some don’t. To your company, if I catch something from your workers who have to be told to put a mask on, it could kill me. I have fought to hard to live to have a careless medical employee risk my life. The men are the worse about this, and I would truly appreciate if you would train employees to follow the signs and not have to be told. They don’t understand the risk to others for their actions. I want to live! Thank you and God Bless. Well came back to drop your score again! Your people are not wearing mask! It’s New Year’s Eve at dialysis which means we are all immune compromised, and it is flu rsv cold COVID time of the year! So once again you are risking peoples health. If you don’t fix this I will call the health department

Called for transport service today. Dispatcher was extremely friendly. Van arrived within 12 minutes and the attendants were very kind. They transported my sister-in-law with care. They were professional in their accessing of the patient and had her loaded in 20 minutes. Thanks everyone for your support.
