My experience with Eureka Ambulance was horrible. My husband was suffering incredibly from surgery on his back and neck. I could not control his pain from the surgery that he had had 4 days previously. We called 911 and were greeted by a medic named “Chew,” who said he was a fireman. This young man was totally obnoxious, would not listen, insisted my husband WALK to the front door. “Chew” claimed our hall was not wide enough to bring the stretcher in. I told him that a couple of months ago medics came and brought the stretcher in and down our plenty wide hall. He insisted on making my husband walk when he could hardly stand by himself. 2 medics lifted his arms (the surgeon said for him not to lift his arms up for at least 3 weeks) and forced him to walk from our bedroom to our front door and down 2 steps to the stretcher. It was also lightly raining. I am very deeply disturbed about how he was taken to the hospital. I will be letting the hospital, Eureka Ambulance and the fire department know what happened. The other medics kind of just looked at me and followed Chew’s orders. This is no way to treat people that need help, especially the elderly. It was so disturbing!

They are very unprofessional. They sent people who didn't know anything about my appointment. The first one showed up too early, the second one late (and then they could not take us to our destination because they had a time call on a route they had to fill in the same time it would take to get to my appointment. Told us the next one would be here in 20 minutes we waited over 45 minutes). Caused me to be an hour late to my appointment. When we called for our ride home they again told us there would be a 20 minute wait and again it was over 45 minutes. The cabbie told me that she had just got the call to pick us up 5 minutes before she arrived. She also told us they sent the second cab from earlier that day knowing full well that they had the time stop at the same time as our drop off. She told us the dispatch is always doing stuff like that. I would not recommend this company to anyone. When I called to check on the cab they were rude and gave me as little info as possible.

Continuation of my other accounts review. This is my husbands.

I have been treated so poorly today for the last time they asked to charge my card prior to leaving that I told them I am going bavk to uber. For someone who has been nothin but nice to this company and their staff keep in mind 3 or 4 of the drivers unrelated to this event have told me this company and Ryan treat their staff and the clientele like 3rd class citizens. I guess the only person ryan is nice to is the other dispatcher that he smokes meth and has sex with in their vehicles behind the office. I have only met him one time and the appearance of his teeth are a tell tail sign of meth or crack addiction. And the aggression toward even emotional but calm women he put into tears shows he is prob under the influence to be so indifferent to a female he has crying over being a bully. A sociopath or a meth addict, either one I would not want as the point of contact for my staff or driver and my clients.

I have been in business with a staff of 5 where with only 33 companies as our clients we bill out over 120k a month in revenue. If I owned city cab I would be embarrassed of my staff and incompetence at hiring appropriate personal and executing a review and displine process appropriate for such misconduct

You better hope you don't need to depend on this company to get you to a hospital quickly. We were stuck behind one of these ambulances driving well under the speed limit and refused to pull over in many of the available pull puts and let people who know to drive pass and arrive where they need to on time.
